The localised fire suppression and reactive technology within VH16-110 means that if there happens to be a fire within the unit, it is unlikely to write off the whole product. This makes it easy to re-commision and helps to protect your investment.
As the fastest-growing fire risk in the UK, ensuring the safe charging and storage of lithium-ion batteries is crucial. The popularity of VoltHub VH16-240 meant that the VH16-110 version was born, designed to address this need for sites operating on 110V power.
The IP55 rated VoltHub VH16-110 maintains all the proactive and reactive features of the original VoltHub, ensuring that Li-Ion batteries are kept charging at optimal temperatures. In the unlikely event of a fire, the device’s reactive features are activated. Designed for 110V power, it is ideal for use in the heart of sites.
Equipped with forced ventilation, a thermostatic heater, early smoke and gas detection, and a humidity sensor, the unit can detect early signs of fire. The automatic and localised fire suppression system significantly reduces risks, especially when the unit is situated centrally on a site, containing any fire and preventing its spread.
For ease of mobility, the unit includes crane lifting eyes, forklift pockets, and castors. As a single plug-and-play unit, it is easy to set up and move around.
The VoltHub VH16-110 features 16 RCD trip-protected double gang sockets, allowing up to 32 batteries to be charged simultaneously. If a fault occurs in one compartment, power is isolated to that compartment alone, allowing other batteries to continue charging without disruption. The unit also features larger lockers to accommodate larger batteries.
