The Armorgard France team visited Paris earlier this month to attend a safety week hosted by EIFFAGE GENIE CIVIL. As leading manufacturers of products that ensure safety remains a top priority on construction sites, the event was exactly the kind of thing we’re all about!
The week was focused around 5 topics for safety:
- Noise risk
- First aid
- Power tools
- Secure storage
- Aerial work platforms
One of the products we presented at the event was our best-selling Armorgard TuffBank - the industry benchmark for quality and functionality. But it’s not only used for ultimate security, the Armorgard R&D team designed it so that there are plenty of safety features too!
With certified crane lifting eyes, workers can safely transport the box by crane. For shorter distances, the TuffBank can be fitted with heavy-duty castors to increase mobility on site and ease manual handling. There’s also a PowerShelf that can be fitted to the TuffBank so power tools and equipment can be safely charged whilst locked inside.
The Armorgard Rubble Truck is a top product for manual handling which attracted a lot of attention at the event. The product was designed specifically to make transporting waste and rubble easier and safer. The built-in tipping feature cleverly ensures the Rubble Truck never tips backwards, so there are no nasty accidents.
Working on a large site in Paris often involves working in large open spaces, with limited access to essential welfare facilities such as hand washing stations. Luckily, the R&D team got to work and designed a unique, hands-free hand washing unit complete with a kick-bin, paper towel and soap dispensers. The ScrubKart is useful for colder months too, supplied with a 240v water heater. The ScrubKart makes sanitisation and keeping hands clean easy, putting worker welfare first.
It was great to be on site in Paris and attend the safety week. As experts in the field, it was great to showcase some of our industry leading products for safety.
